I am informed that the Colonial Authorities

have under consideration a proposal to place the

Magazine on Green Island to which there is no Military

objection.

4. I attach a copy of the Gazette shewing the

contents of the Magazines on the 30th December 1901,

The total cubical area available for storage is 40,280

cubic feet. The magazines are not bomb proof.

5.

I also attach a tracing shewing position of

magazine in reference to the Battery.
